mENTORSHIPS

I have had many college students approach me over the years about mentorships/internships. While I can’t guarantee taking on any student due to being very busy, this section of my FAQ will run through what my mentorships can look like, and my needs from any potentially interested student.

About me and my process:

• My expertise is comics, product design, and selling/marketing at conventions. Although I do illustration and animation work, I am not the most proficient at providing lessons in those areas.

• The work is largely student-led. I will provide critique, information on different industries, merchandise advice, and or one-on-one demonstrations based on what the student is looking to learn. I am not the one to determine a student's wants and needs, and I will not have a student work on my own projects (professional or otherwise) unless it aligns with their goals.

Things I need from you:

1. Timeframe: When does your school need this mentorship to begin and end? How often would I have to meet with you (via zoom/meets/discord)?

2. Your goals: What are you looking to achieve within that timeframe? Tell me about your project proposal, because this will let me see if I’m a good fit.
